QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

The manufacturing industry continues to grow in the U.S. and we are partnered with one of the strongest players in the game who are seeing strong expansion in the Pacific Northwest in Aerospace, Medical devices and Heavy Machinery. We are helping this client add a vital member to their Quality Control department.  This position is first shift.

The Quality Assurance Technician will:

- Provide expertise in Quality Assurance for CNC manufactured parts

- Be familiar working within AS9100 guidelines

- Communicate between departments to increase efficiency

- Verify that manufactured parts meet pre-determined quality standards

- Understand Specification Control Charts

- Assist engineering department in implementing strategies to improve accuracy

The Qualified Candidates will:

- Have significant working knowledge in Quality Assurance

- Ability to set up and operate CMM

- Have a background in manual and CNC machining environments

- Be well versed in all measurement equipment used within a parts production facility

- Be able to read all blueprints and parts drawings for high tolerance, precision parts

- Bring ideas to the table to increase speed and efficiency in the department
