PLANNER / SCHEDULER

Redmond, WA

We are excited to be partnered with a strong aerospace-centric machine shop that took an idea and and turned it into a successful business busting at the seams.  They’re located in Redmond and have been growing since they opened their doors over 40 years ago.  We’re currently seeking a Planner/Scheduler to take this machine shop to the next level of efficiency and productivity.  This will be an integral piece to the success and growth of their machining capabilities.

As the Planner/Scheduler you will:

• Write detailed parts plans as well as control and coordinate work in the shop

• Analyze operational budgets, schedules and manpower requirements for each job 

• Work to resolve proposal preparation problems and assess part production progress against established plans and parameters.

• Identify potential risks and pitfalls of the part production schedule and work to mitigate

• Work with all areas of the business to ensure continuity of schedules and manage project timelines

The Qualified Candidates will:

• Be an effective communicator and work with Shop Leads, Manufacturing Engineers, Supervisors and other employees to coordinate machine shop scheduling and planning.

• Have a strong background in MRP/ERP systems and lean manufacturing.

• Be well skilled in CAD/CAM software. 

• Have expertise working within a machine shop environment with a focus on aerospace.
