CNC PROGRAMMER

Our partner has built a strong reputation over the years as one of the premier suppliers to the local aerospace market. Diverse capabilities enable them to create precision components for a variety of modern aircraft. In order to keep up with demand they need their equipment and team to be running on all cylinders all day long. They're adding to this team, an experienced and highly skilled CNC Programmer.

As a CNC Programmer you will:

  • Provide a creative approach to solving complex machining problems on multi axis CNC machinery; analyzing drawings, sketches and design data to create programs

  • Write programs using Siemens and verifying tool paths utilizing Vericut software

  • Write instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operations of machines

  • Collaborate with external and internal customers including Manufacturing and Quality Assurance staff to resolve issues and meet customer expectations

  • Observe machine operation to prove out programs and make adjustments when necessary


The Qualified Candidates will:

  • Bring expertise in CNC machine operations, setup and programming abilities

  • Have CAD/CAM knowledge and hands on usage experience

  • Have working knowledge of Siemens programming software on multi axis CNC machinery

  • Be able to determine reference points and tool path direction

  • Bring confidence in machining principles and practices, with the aiblity to communicate effectively to multiple departments

  • Have a high level of competency in all areas of shop math, machine controls, materials and tooling.
